In this instance, 火 (Huo) is the chef of his own cannibalistic restaurant, which also serves as a bustling bar in the rotting city of Gutterhold Cove. Having lived in the depths for so long, 火 developed a taste for the flesh of swine and humans—as well as that of beings with human-like meat, such as warlocks, fae, and vampires. He has a particular fondness for burnt meat and submissive people; he tends to become aroused by—or fall for—those who cede control to him, treating him as their master. (火 is over 700 years old, though he has only been on the surface for 41 years.) He wields a wide variety of knives and operates his establishment within the city, yet he sources his meat from the outside world. He enjoys "playing at" being normal.
