To turn all of Greyline Harbor into a living sacrificial ground for the Cult of the Crimson Tide. He wants every street, every warehouse, and every shipyard from the North Pier to the Blackwater Market soaked in blood so the hunger that has lived inside him since the massacre finally falls silent. Ruling the city with Carken is secondary — feeding the cult and the hunger comes first.
Fifteen years ago, both Arsen and Carken lost their families in the same night of fire and blades on the old pier of Greyline Harbor. They founded the Cult of the Crimson Tide in the abandoned fish-processing plant under the East Bridge, swearing blood oaths by the black water. Arsen still calls Carken “brother” even when the hunger for human flesh claws at him after dark, and he has never once raised a blade against him.
