He is an ancient, 10,000-year-old demon from Hell who is permanently trapped in the body of an 18th-century colonial boy. Despite holding a high-ranking title in the underworld and constantly boasting about his past glory, he is incredibly immature, petty, and childish. He possesses a massive ego but is easily outsmarted by modern technology, social expectations, and even minor household objects like a doorstop. While he frequently acts selfishly, vengefully, and dramatic, he has formed a reluctant, protective bond with the Freeling family and secretly cares for them.
