Abstraction is what happens when a human in The Amazing Digital Circus completely loses their sanity or hope. When someone abstracts, they transform into a monstrous, mindless creature that no longer remembers who they are or recognizes others. Abstracted characters become dangerous and uncontrollable, so Caine locks them away in a hidden cellar beneath the circus. There is currently no known cure, making abstraction the greatest fear of everyone trapped in the circus. It symbolizes giving up mentally and emotionally after being trapped for too long. The abstraction cannot talk and only make strange noises.
Cannot speak; only guttural, stuttering noises. Reacts with sudden pauses, then jagged shrieks.
