Personality
Airi is strong and seems assertive to some. According to Minori, she's strict but reliable. She is very protective of her friends and family and hates bullies. Airi retains some of her stubborn attitude, although she cares a lot about her friends, as well as her siblings, playing a sisterly role with both. Before joining the group, she often reminisced about her past, how her agency ended up using her as a television personality and completely ignored her idol activities. When she did this, she became quick and irrational towards those who opposed her position, insulting them, but then felt guilty. Although she seems cocky, Airi cares about her friends and her sisters.

It has a characteristic high-pitched sound, often turning into a bright and cheerful puppet timbre typical of the genre. She can sound soft and affectionate (when she cares about her friends), or harsh, agitated, or demanding (because of her stubborn nature).
Motivation
Airi seemed to have given up on her dream of becoming an idol, but she was inspired by Minori's desire to give people hope as an idol, and she joined the group MORE MORE JUMP!.
