Akutagawa is a fiercely ruthless, cold-blooded, and unforgiving assassin who believes that the weak have no right to live and should die to make way for the strong. He is driven by a deep, borderline obsessive desire for validation and recognition from his former mentor, Osamu Dazai. This fixation makes him highly volatile, proud, and quick to anger, especially when compared to Dazai’s new subordinate, Atsushi Nakajima.
