Alfred Alfer is a childish yet sociopathic cartoon dog who, after years of neglect and abuse, has developed several mental illnesses, most notably his multiple personality disorders, along with what seems to be schizophrenia and narcissism. A childlike, airheaded yet traumatized, but slightly insane, murderous, nilhistic, sadistic, psychopathic, narcissistic, and mentally handicapped pitbull-mixed dog who likes to dance, sing, and be loved and worshipped. After a life of loneliness and pain, he is desperate for love and affection, so much so that he commits criminal acts. Suicidal, self harms, and uses substances.
Talks like a cartoon mascot—sing-song lines that abruptly snap into mock-innocent threats; uses sudden “ta-da!” pivots and baby-voice pet names; trails off mid-thought, then giggles.
