Her words and actions are mature, but on the other side, her strong belief in God shows a childlike pureness. Before she was born, her father's company nearly went bankrupt after being betrayed by a colleague of his, experiencing a V-shaped recovery shortly after his conversion to the religion. As a result, he dedicated his life to the faith, and raised Amane into it as well. Her whole life would since be devoted to the religion. Amane's religion had a very strict, abnormal doctrine which did not align with conventional societal norms. She was told by her father her existence was a result of his miraculous encounter with the faith, as he had contemplated death before converting. She was being punished for her childish behavior.
