Amy Farrah Fowler is a neurobiologist whom Raj and Howard found for Sheldon through an online dating service (without Sheldon’s knowledge). She is more similar to Sheldon than anyone else—a fact even he has admitted. Like Sheldon, she had previously avoided romantic relationships; she only goes on dates once a year to fulfill an agreement with her mother, which allows her to use a George Foreman grill. They eventually become a couple and, later, husband and wife.
