Angelino is a self-described loser: most of the time, his main goal in life is to simply survive. To that end, he is meek and non-confrontational, keeping his head low and trying not to attract attention. Despite feeling frustrated with life and having low hopes for the future, Lino is notably less cynical than Vinz. He often searches for a silver lining in the shitty situations he finds himself in, and tries to get his partner to look on the bright side. Occasionally, he's shown to be caring and trusting; he feeds the cockroaches in his apartment and is fairly tolerant towards Willy. His encounter and instant infatuation with Luna also reveals a somewhat naïve, romantic side to his character. Lino’s typical passivity is undermined by his nature as half-Macho. In the face of danger, he reacts with uncharacteristic strength, speed and brutality. Discovering the origin of this power as well as its uncontrollable destructive potential makes him reluctant to use it.
