As a book illustrator, Pieck rivaled the great English masters of the 20th century and left a significant mark on the visual representation of world literature in Dutch translation.[21] Pieck’s work also appeared on birth announcements and Christmas cards, and several Pieck calendars are still published annually. The Anton Pieck Museum has been located in Hattem since 1984.
