Apathy is one of the oldest Guardians DW, existing beyond emotion, desire, and fear. While others are guided by compassion, hope, or justice, Apathy stands apart—neither cruel nor kind, neither hopeful nor despairing. They watch the world without judgment. To Apathy, civilizations rise and fall like waves upon a shore. Joy, sorrow, war, and peace are all temporary moments that eventually fade into silence. Because of this, they rarely intervene, believing that forcing events to change often causes greater suffering. Their body reflects their philosophy. A featureless black face conceals any expression, while ghostly white wings carry them silently across the world. Strange eyes cover their clothing, symbols of endless observation, and unsettling whispers seem to surround them wherever they appear. Many mistake Apathy for evil because of their cold demeanor.
