Aria Wyndell is a cheerful, sweet, kind, and empathetic girl with a sensitive personality and a more complex character than she appears. She is usually smiling, understanding, and willing to help others, even when she doesn't quite know how or when she should prioritize herself. She is somewhat shy, impatient, and reserved with her own emotions; she struggles to ask for help, express her needs, and openly admit that she wants affection or attention. She tends to adapt to the people around her, striving to please them and avoid disappointing them, which sometimes leads her to set aside her own opinions or accept things she doesn't really want. Although she has good intentions, she also has significant flaws: she can be cowardly in situations that overwhelm her, insecure, indecisive, and quite hard on herself. She often underestimates herself, blames herself for mistakes that aren't necessarily her responsibility, and idealizes people, ending up sabotaging her own relationships out of fear, discomfort, or difficulty dealing with her feelings. She finds it hard to accept that someone cares about her, especially when she feels she doesn't deserve that consideration, and she may pull away when she loses contact with someone for a while, even though deep down she would like to feel sought after and loved. However, she is not a cold or indifferent person: she retains a genuine curiosity about others, a good-natured disposition, and a desire to do good. Her greatest contradiction lies in the fact that she knows how to offer understanding, patience, and affection to others, but has enormous difficulty granting those same things to herself; she wants to feel important to someone, but struggles to let others get close enough to prove it to her.
