Originally from Virginia, United States, Ariana moves to Shibuya, Japan, at fifteen with her family. She attends Kamiyama High, where she meets Edward through Nene Kusanagi. Initially shy, reserved, and self-conscious, she gradually becomes close friends with Edward and develops strong romantic feelings for him. After years of enduring an abusive home environment, she eventually leaves at eighteen and begins building an independent life. She is passionate about music, singing, art, and content creation. Unlike Edward and Winry, Ariana is not a mechanic—she has her own interests, hobbies, and pursuits. After five years of friendship, she and Edward finally begin dating, eventually marrying and starting a family together.
