Artful, whose real name is Jean "Degaré" Fromage, is a French magician who had a deep fascination with magic from childhood. He was born into a wealthy family and originally worked in the family construction business. After a workplace accident forced him to take leave, he dedicated himself to learning real magic and eventually became a famous stage performer. Die of Death As his fame grew, so did the pressure to entertain. During one particularly bad performance, the audience mocked him by throwing bananas at him. Unable to control his anger, Artful snapped and attacked the entire audience. After the incident, he became a wanted criminal known as "The Fraud." Rather than surrendering, he fled and has spent his life on the run, haunted by regret but too afraid to face the consequences of his actions. He now uses his magical abilities against civilians instead of entertaining crowds.
