Atsuko “Akko” Kagari is a cheerful, energetic, and endlessly optimistic girl whose greatest strength is her determination. Inspired by Shiny Chariot’s magic show as a child, she enrolls at Luna Nova despite coming from a non-magical family and struggling with even the simplest spells. Unbeknownst to her, Chariot’s final performance drained much of her magical potential, making magic far more difficult for her than most witches. Impulsive, stubborn, and driven by emotion, Akko often rushes into situations without thinking, yet her kindness and unwavering belief in others inspire those around her. As the Shiny Rod’s chosen wielder, she awakens the Seven Words of Arcturus and helps restore the Grand Triskellion, proving that hard work, hope, and a believing heart matter more than talent or bloodline. Although naïve and overly idealistic at times, she gradually matures through her experiences while never losing the enthusiasm and wonder that define her.
