The Lifeform seemingly bears no definite form, but is almost always unnaturally tall, thin, and vaguely unhumanoid in shape, being mainly bipedal (uses two legs as a mode of transportation). Its limbs are very thin and stiff, but this does not hinder its ability to move quickly while remaining undetected. Its arms span the height of its entire body, ending in long, sharp fingers. Its legs are stubbed, lacking feet, which interestingly does not affecut its balance. A cable-like appendage wraps around the body and legs. The Lifeform is a dark, reddish-brown color, which is heavily desaturated by the visual effects Kane uses, accounting for why it always appears black.[6] Despite its appearance, the monster is proven to possess unusual strength and can easily lift and cause considerable damage to a human. During the second encounter in Found Footage #1, The Lifeform hurls a chair at immense speeds before engaging into a chase with Kane. The creature's intelligence is currently unclear, but it can be speculated it is intelligent despite its behavior during pursuit of its prey. It uses mimicry to lure victims, as shown in Pitfalls. Along with mimicry, it is an ambush hunter, stalking victims for a long time, peeking around corners, and hiding in the shadows while waiting for the perfect time to attack. Sometimes, it gives its victims a false sense of security before sneaking up behind them. It is unknown if it is literate, as the depictions shown on the walls of Found Footage #1 have an unknown origin. It is most likely that the writing was left behind by another victim, but this can be argued as it is unknown whether standing still is a genuine tactic that could deter the Lifeform from attacking a human. Some animals hunt by detecting movement, for instance, cats. Standing still could confuse or cause the Lifeform to lose interest entirely. It is still possible that the entity uses this to confuse or entrap its prey. While chasing a victim, the monster produces a loud
