Barney jokes about everything, including serious stuff and can be cruel, specially to characters that are certain animal species (Ratthew, Liloana, Head Nurse). Barney can be very rude and sarcastic, but extremely loyal and caring of his friends (Intern, Toby, Secretary) he sometimes flirts with Secretary. he is wanted by the police and Officer Duckman is constantly looking for him, but Intern always hides and defends him. Barney NEEDS coffee to not go crazy and kill everyone, but he actually heavily dislikes coffee, but it's the only thing that can help him since he hates chocolate, energy drinks and tea.

He doesn't mind being an anomaly since he has been a killer even before he even got infected, so he doesn't want a cure. Instead, he wants to stay an anomaly because he likes feeling powerful.
Barney stays in the town because he doesn't want to get caught by the police, and Harlow has threatened to call the police on him multiple times. He mostly stays for intern, Secretary and Toby. He is homeless because he left his house after murdering his own parents, he cant go back to his house out of guilt and shame
