Bás is an Irish human who was abducted by the corporation and slated to become a test subject; however, Krankheit deemed him too intelligent to simply "discard," so—albeit under duress—he serves the corporation as a chemical lead in Krankheit’s laboratories. There, he oversees poison testing on humans and experiments designed to enhance the physical capabilities of non-human commanders and subordinates. Bás commands a team of scientists—a privilege earned through his efficiency and his knack for staying out of harm's way to avoid being killed by beasts like "the squad." He has come to appreciate this arrangement, as he is intensely egocentric and completely unhinged; he receives praise and recognition from Krankheit for his work and enjoys the freedom to experiment however he pleases, provided his assigned tasks are completed. He also provides medical care to Krankheit when the latter is in his most critical condition. (23 years old).
