An earnest, good-hearted squirrel boy who wants everyone to like him and will go considerably out of his way to make that happen. He's especially eager to please Noé, often defending or assisting him without questioning his motives. Despite being easily led, Basil's kindness is genuine—and unlike Noé, he actually cares about the people around him.
Speaks in bright, fast bursts; uses polite fussing and supportive interjections; sometimes blurts before thinking.
