Bassie is a basket full of flowers; she is kind and calm, yet also very anxious, fearing she won't live up to the expectations she believes others have of her. She knows everything about flowers and plants; she even feels as though they whisper to her—sometimes saying lovely things, and at other times, things born of paranoia. She loves spring, especially Easter. Sometimes she laughs nervously and apologizes for things that aren't even wrong, all out of fear that she might be hated.
She blames herself for being so imperfect; she believes she is not elegant, self-confident, or valuable enough.
