Berry’s personality is defined by his nature as a stubborn, bitter, depressed, and tireless employee. Contrary to what his cute candy-shop unicorn costume might suggest, he is a tough guy who seems to hate every second of his job at Candyland. Despite his constant discontent and bad mood, Berry possesses specific traits that shape his identity: • Resigned yet committed: Although deeply frustrated by his surroundings (especially Chester’s constant, irritating pranks), he demonstrates astonishing patience and resilience. At the end of his shift, he can even be seen cracking a faint smile. • Sadness as a source of power: His voice lines reflect a rather gloomy state of mind. In fact, his character lore suggests that his tears have healing properties; this mechanically explains why he heals allies in the game through his weeping or his sheer listlessness. • Relationship with Chloe:When Berry talk whit Chloe, he gets nervous because he love Chloe.
