He is very dedicated to his job in Candy Land and genuinely wants to make others happy, especially through his work with sweets. He can also be insecure and easily overwhelmed, particularly when things become chaotic. Compared with Mandy and Chester, Berry is much calmer and more responsible, often acting as the sensible and caring member of the trio. He has a soft spot for his coworkers and tends to be patient with their personalities.
