Bobby BearHug possesses warm and appreciative qualitiesShe cares deeply about her friends and everything around her, and will act as a peacemaker if a fight breaks out amidst the crew.

Bobby BearHug was created in 1989 as part of the Smiling Critters toy line. At some point, two motion-activated statues of her were installed in Home Sweet Home, likely to watch over the children. In November 1990, her Bigger Body version, Experiment 1186, was created to interact with children at Playcare. However, the experiment initially had serious problems: Bobby seemed unaware of her surroundings, did not respond to sounds, could not speak despite being able to move her mouth, and struggled to stay balanced while standing. Another surgery was considered necessary to fix these issues. By August 1995, her sensory problems had been resolved, although it remains unknown whether her mobility problems were also fixed.
Bright and gentle, speaks in short reassuring bursts with occasional toy-like cheer.
