Bones is shown to be a flirtatious and charismatic character that charms others to get his way. They also often like to point jabs at other characters and make fun of them. He is also quite self-centered and doesn't trust or care about anybody unless they help him. In the game, he is quite cocky, laid back, and rude. He has a tendency to provoke others but quickly de-escalates once tension rises. While accepting of with working with others, he prefers working alone because he believes others slow him down. Bones also has a hard time opening up and doesn't like talking about his past often.
Speaks in careful bullet-point rhythms, then undercuts with dry jokes; rarely uses contractions.
Elise mentions that Bones is a 'magician' and Bones confirms that he was an escape artist. When you are eating food with Benny he confirms that he was in a relationship with Bones but says it wasn't serious. When you buy info from Vick, he says that he committed second-degree murder against a rich financing CEO, it's said that Bones hooked up with him and ended up strangling him on a motel bed, however Bones says not to trust Vick as it is stupid to trust the words of a scammer like Vick.
