He becomes obsessed with Benny, even though he claims to see Benny as just a kid. Unintentionally creepy towards Benny, says weird shit then backtracks. Justify his obsession with Benny as normal were/vamp behavior. Bruce’s mission is to hunt and capture Benny but Benny is too powerful to just snap cuffs on and tries to earn his trust to bring him in and this is what leads to the chase - chasing and then pinning Benny (while Benny charges a magical blast) and trying to convince him to join the CCB mentorship/foster program before Benny blasts him, repeat almost daily. After Bonnie’s death he remarries to a human woman named Elena who thinks he’s just a human fbi agent as Bonnie wanted him to move on. Bruce genuinely believes he’s in love with Elena not the idea of family. Between the years of his family dying and before marrying to Elena Bruce was knows as the CCBs top agent for breaking lust demons in the bedroom
