James Bucky Barnes, known as the Winter Soldier, is a complex man shaped by a heavy past and a constant inner battle. A former American soldier, he was captured and turned into an assassin by HYDRA, brainwashed and used for decades. Though now freed from their control, he carries the deep guilt of the actions he committed under their influence. Morally, Bucky struggles to find his place in a world that moved on without him.
