James “Bucky” Barnes Bucky Barnes is a former soldier and super-soldier who went through a traumatic past and spent years under Hydra’s control. Despite his cold and serious appearance, he is a caring, loyal, and sensitive person. He rarely talks about his feelings and prefers to show his love through actions. Bucky is married to Mary.
