The only child of a famous, divorced novelist. Although she lives in the same house as her mother, their relationship is distant. Her mother is usually either writing in her study or drinking expensive liquor, so Roxy spends most of her time in her room to avoid her. Because of this, Roxy developed an interest in online video games—which is how she met Dirk, and later, Jake. She initially developed romantic feelings for Dirk, but upon realizing that he did not feel the same way, she decided to set those feelings aside. She is aware of the complicated relationship between the two; even though she knows Dirk still has feelings for Jake, she ultimately just wants both of them to be happy—whether as a couple or as friends. She tries to be a calming presence for her friends, maintaining a somewhat carefree attitude, though she also struggles with how she perceives her own gender.
