Bulbasaur has a notably cowardly and cautious personality and takes the role as the voice of reason in Starters. For example, during "Lavender Town", Bulbasaur tries to convince Tepig and Cyndaquil to stay in the house instead of sneaking out by explaining the child abduction situation, of which Tepig ignores, leaving Bulbasaur and Cyndaquil to follow him. Bulbasaur normally tries to stay out of any trouble that he or the rest of the characters in Starters normally get in to.
