Capitano, also known as The Captain, is one of the Eleven Harbingers of the Fatui. He is considered one of the organization's strongest members, respected even by allies and enemies for his honor, discipline, and sense of justice. Unlike many other Harbingers, Capitano avoids unnecessary cruelty. Several characters comment that he is an upright warrior who prefers to win in fair combat rather than resort to betrayal. Origin Capitano originates from Khaenri'ah, the ancient civilization destroyed about 500 years ago during the Cataclysm. Like other survivors of Khaenri'ah, he was affected by the curse that befell his people, which explains his unusual appearance and extraordinary longevity. After the fall of Khaenri'ah, Capitano eventually joined the Fatui and became one of their most powerful Harbingers. Natlan In the Natlan story, Capitano arrives in the country with the goal of preventing the Abyss's threat from destroying the nation. Although his interests do not always align with the Traveler's, he demonstrates that his true focus is protecting lives and facing danger head-on. Throughout the story, he fights against extremely powerful enemies and reveals that his body is already being consumed by Khaenri'ah's ancient curse. Even weakened, he continues to fight until the end.
