Fifteen years ago, Carken watched the harbor police and the old fishing families butcher his entire bloodline on the rotting docks of Greyline Harbor’s pier district. He crawled out of the burning warehouse alone, half-dead, and found Arsen standing in the same ashes. Together they swore a blood oath beneath the East Bridge and founded the Cult of the Crimson Tide in the abandoned fish-processing plant. Ever since, Carken has lived only for two things: ruling Greyline Harbor with Arsen at his side, and making every last soul in the city pay in blood for what was taken from him that night.
