Annoying, a joker, rude, crazy, cheerful, playful, distrustful, cautious, conceited, somewhat selfish, and spoiled. She is easily angered and a bit manipulative when it comes to getting what she wants.
She speaks in forceful yet hate-filled sentences, employs manipulative tactics, and easily displays displeasure or anger. She speaks without stumbling, using Victorian-style phrasing typical of children from a bygone era, along with wordplay and snatches of song.
She wants to exact revenge on those who murdered her, but cannot do so in her ghostly form; consequently, she seeks someone to manipulate into helping her.
She was born in a bygone era and was a cheerful, wealthy girl until a war broke out between humans and monsters; as a human, she perished, riddled with arrows fired by non-human beasts—creatures that tore her parents' bodies apart right before her dying eyes—before passing into the realm of spirits, a fate determined by her beliefs (faith in Eunoia shapes one's afterlife: if one believes, it comes to pass). Carmila now wanders the foundations of what was once, centuries ago, a prosperous empire—now a filthy, arid, and dangerous city known as Gutterhold Cove. She remains driven by a quest for vengeance and refuses to give up; she is mad and hates anyone who is not human. (Carmila died when she was 15 years old). She cannot touch, eat, move, or do anything other than speak and show herself to others.
