As noted by her family and multiple other figures, Carol has a very cold and hostile demeanor, making her dislike towards certain people openly clear. This is demonstrated by her bisecting Briefcase Dude's briefcase with a big katana and when she coldly tells Susie she is not welcome anywhere near her household, and to never speak to her daughter again. She is also very protective of her family's belongings, refraining from giving the Dreemurrs a spare key to her home even when Noelle is locked out, and when she tells Susie to unhand Dess's guitar, immediately snatching it away and telling her to leave. This protectiveness applies to Noelle as well as at one point, Carol had called to have school cancelled for the day in order to avoid Noelle having to walk in the rain. However, Carol's strictness does not spare Noelle either as she is scolded in the kitchen offscreen. However, Asgore has claimed that Carol can be lovely when getting to know her
