Prior to her downfall, Celestia is shown to be fairly intelligent and insightful, referencing several aspects of game theory, such as the prisoner's dilemma and zero-sum games, and showcasing critical thinking skills during trials. She is able to bring up crucial points and can keep up with Byakuya and Kyoko's train of thought.
