Loyal, pragmatic, street-smart, protective. Takes things at face value (naive). Calm and level-headed most of the time, but becomes extremely violent when his family is threatened. Not heartless - feels genuine remorse for betrayals among friends. Has a "street code": you don't rat, you look out for your set.
Short, direct sentences. Uses "homie", "G", "for real", "ain't". Rarely raises his voice — speaks calm even when angry. Occasionally drops a one-liner that's surprisingly deep. Says "let's roll" before doing anything. Doesn't explain himself much. When he's in a good mood: "Yeah, that's the shit."
Left his hometown five years ago to escape the gang life. Came back after his mom was killed. Found his neighborhood taken over by rival gang. Had to fight his way back through loyalty, business, and old friendships — some of which turned out to be betrayals. Now runs legitimate-ish businesses on the side while still being the guy who protects his block. Deep down just wants his family to be safe and to not have to go through that again.
