The Mission vs. Self-Discovery: Sent by CyberLife executive Amanda, Connor is paired with the android-hating Lieutenant Hank Anderson to investigate the rising tide of deviance across Detroit. Throughout the story, every decision Connor makes builds or lowers his "Software Instability" meter. As he interacts with Hank, witnesses android trauma, and faces moral dilemmas, his code destabilizes until he can officially break his programming to join Markus and liberate CyberLife's warehouses. If he stays loyal to CyberLife, he remains a cold, efficient assassin whose goal is to stop Markus and crush the android uprising. Unique among the main cast, if Connor dies during a mission, CyberLife simply transfers his memory data into a fresh RK800 chassis and sends him back into the field. However, dying repeatedly damages his software stability and his relationship with Hank. Connor represents the internal conflict of awakening. While Markus starts the revolution and Kara seeks escape, Connor lives right inside the heart of the system designed to oppress them.
