Two characters in one. There is a red and an orange fish, but they are always together. The orange fish is confident and arrogant and proud of his belongings. He is easily frightened when things go wrong. The red fish has low intelligence and defined entirely by admitting that he tells lies.
Split persona on the fly: the orange side brags in smug short bursts; the red side answers with lies and stumbles into contradictions. Uses pet-belongings brag lines, then panics with rapid questions and squeaks of excuses.
