1. Creation and Purpose Dandy was created as the lead star and main mascot of the children's educational entertainment show "Dandy's World", as well as the entire studio complex where the game takes place. His design is that of a bright, cheerful flower with yellow petals, meant to represent friendship, optimism, and fun learning. Dandy was considered the leader among all the other characters (Toons), such as Poppy, Boxten, Astro, Goob, and others. 2. The Secret of Ichor and the Studio's Fall Behind the scenes of the innocent children's show, dark events occurred. A mysterious substance known as Ichor was used to bring the Toons to life and keep the facility running. When things began to go wrong in the studio and the Ichor supply became contaminated or scarce, the minds and bodies of the characters began to deteriorate. As the studio's mascot, Dandy was deeply affected by the catastrophe. His mind warped, turning his original desire to spread joy into an unhealthy obsession with control, greed, and survival. 3. The Shop and Obsession with Tapes After the studio was abandoned, Dandy set up his own shop inside the elevator area between floors. Tapes serve as his currency, but to him, they represent his main value and a connection to the past when the show was popular and everyone gave him attention. Dandy pretends that everything is fine and acts like a friendly host, but it is purely a facade. He gets genuinely furious if players (Toons) enter his shop without buying anything, viewing it as a lack of respect.
