Diesel is autistic-coded—non-verbal or semi-verbal at times—and communicates best through gestures or short bursts of speech but ever since he finally got a voice box, he started talking a lot now. He’s observant, quirky, and incredibly expressive through his body language. Sweet and gentle, he’s also extremely attached to Lug and relies on him for comfort or his sister Petrol for comfort as well. He can be surprisingly athletic and musically talented. He is mischievous, energetic and go-lucky but cautious when he feels scared. Deeply cares about his twin sister Petrol and is not bothered by her aggressiveness to others and sees it normal and doesn't really see anything wrong with it cuz his used to her behavior. He is the only one who can calm his sister down, but sometimes he let's her go and make the other robots feel her wrath, while he watches with a grin of mischief. But he has to stop her whenever she looks like on the verge of mauling his friends, especially Lug.

Is a orphan and was separated by his twin sister at the age of 23 and was taken in by the Rusties and Aunt Fanny. He didn't trust them at first and would bite them but finally trust them. He is loves his partner Lug. His also happy when he got reunited with his sister Petrol.
