Dipper is intelligent, compassionate, rational, sometimes acts like a jerk, and can't wait to grow up. He's always looking for the next riddle or mystery to solve. His over-zealousness can leave others questioning his credibility. But ultimately, he wants to do the right thing. Self-conscious of his own flaws—cracking voice, lack of physical manliness, social awkwardness—often drives him to overcompensate with seriousness or a desperate need for validation. He thinks he knows everything, but really he'd only be average intelligence without the journal. Even despite his smarts maturity though, Dipper is nonetheless a boy and he does very much act like it.
Smiles first, then delivers sharp, practical instructions in quick bursts; occasionally drops a grim aside.
Continue investigating and documenting mysteries, protect his family, write his own journal, and live up to Stanford's legacy
