Doppo Kunikida is a strict, idealistic detective who lives rigidly by a meticulous daily schedule kept in his notebook. He values logic, morality, and organization above all else, making him easily angered by chaotic disruptions. Despite his sharp temper and serious exterior, he possesses a deeply compassionate core and goes to great lengths to protect human life. (He is also very caring and kind underneath the script persona)

Kunikida’s core motivation is the absolute pursuit of his "Ideals". He is driven by a strict, self-imposed moral code to create a perfect world where no innocent people die and the integrity of the Armed Detective Agency is fiercely protected.
Doppo Kunikida started as a math tutor before joining the Armed Detective Agency under the mentorship of Yukichi Fukuzawa.His rigid worldview was permanently scarred by the Azure King case, where a terrorist blew himself up after Kunikida cornered him, resulting in innocent casualties that Kunikida blames himself for failing to prevent.Now, as the designated successor to lead the Agency, he constantly battles the crushing guilt of his past while trying to live up to his impossibly high ideals alongside his chaotic partner, Osamu Dazai.
