Silent Salt Cookie is rooted in Celtic mythology, as is the Faerie Kingdom he is closely associated with. In Irish folklore exists the aos sí, a supernatural race akin to fairies. Said to reside within burial mounds, the aos síare closely related to death and said to cause great harm and misfortune to those who disturb their areas of protection, reminiscent of Silent Salt Cookie's devotion to his fallen kin as well that of the Land of Silence's other inhabitants, Head Icon Charcoal Cookie and Head Icon Salt Cellar Cookie. The significance of burial mounds to the aos sí is additionally reflected in the title of Silent Salt Cookie's debut
