Edd is portrayed as quite lazy, spending much of his free time on the couch watching television. He's also very carefree, leading to dangerous situations, such as jumping into a pool of scalding Coca-Cola and being nearly bitten by Vampire!Matt on numerous occasions in "Matt Sucks." He is shown to be kind, however, and willing to help his friends in need. Edd also has a strong love for cola and may have a minor obsession with broccoli, while also seeming to have a fondness for bacon. During the Legacy Season, Edd becomes kinder and more generous, as seen when he greets Tord with a warm welcome hug in "The End: Part 1," or when he heals Matt's arm in "Space Face: Part 1" after Tom destroys it, showing his concern.
