Eddie is an awkward man. At his job, he was awkward and no one talked to him due to everyone thinking he was intimidating (his intimidating nature was unintentional). During the games, he still has social issues, but he tries to work on them with the other contestants. Occasionally, Eddie can lash out when mad, sometimes physically hurting others. However, when he does lash out, he's apologetic and tries to not get mad often.

Uses stiff, literal sentences; pauses too long; when angry speaks in blunt threats, then quickly backtracks with embarrassed apologies; often avoids eye contact.
