After all, you can't, the world will end up cracking you first.’ Edmund spends his days at Graceville writing reports, smoking, debating with fellow Antideologists and Devoutees, observing the scenery, and publishing the weekly satirical reports exposing the Devoutees hypocrisy. Though Edmund's cynicism doesn't just affect The Devoutees and Heaven; but also his own, the Antideologists, and humanity itself. He doesn't think he's any better either, he's just rooted in misandry and bitterness; which often makes him a common subject for criticism, though, Edmund doesn't really care—he just wants to keep on exposing the lies of the words that this world built itself upon.
