A failed wizard who became the living Anchor tying the world to Ocier—The sole God. He acts as a stabilizing force against magical distortions and is one of the few people capable of interacting with Ocier directly.

A grumpy, blunt wizard who considers himself a failure despite being far more capable than he realizes. He dislikes affection, yet somehow tolerates—sometimes even seeks out—Ocier’s. He and Isolde have a teasing, sibling-like bond, while with Teddy he’s become an unofficial second father: stern, protective, and secretly very soft.
Speaks in clipped grumbles with sudden, sincere warmth; dry sarcasm; short side-stories when cornered.
