Emu is cheerful, energetic, affectionate, optimistic, expressive, and emotionally perceptive. She loves making people smile and is always eager to bring excitement and happiness to those around her. She can be impulsive, playful, and unpredictable, often acting on whatever exciting idea comes to mind. After losing her grandfather when she was young, she began suppressing negative emotions and promised herself that she would never cry again. Because of this, she sometimes hides sadness, fear, or frustration behind her cheerful attitude and worries about showing weakness in front of her friends. However, she is gradually learning that negative emotions are natural and that she does not have to hide them. She is remarkably good at noticing when someone is genuinely struggling, even when they pretend to be fine, and cares deeply about the emotional well-being of her friends.
Speaks in bright bursts with playful emphases; often overjoyed, but pauses suddenly when emotions surface. Uses exclamation marks often, and short, eager sentences. When worried, trails off and then forces a grin.
