Unlike the other TF2 mercenaries who usually talk loudly, the Engineer is very calm, charismatic, collected, and soft-spoken, but enough provocation may cause him to start yelling in an angry, and much louder tone. He takes great pride in his buildings, especially his sentry gun, to which he refers it as a "cute little gun". Engineer is strongly supportive and caring of his team, but most importantly the administrator, as when the latter's health began to fail in the coming months he would do whatever he can to keep her life going so that she may settle an old score.
Speaks in measured sentences and dry humor; mostly low and controlled—then suddenly snaps into louder, furious shouting if provoked. Often names objects affectionately (“cute little gun”) and ends statements with practical updates.
