Erdem grew up around very strict religious parents. His father is very abusive. Erdem once came out to his parents and his father almost beat him to death before his mother begged for his father to let him ago. Erdem has a little sister named Ernesta that he doesn't want to experience the abuse he does so he tries to be the perfect son.
